STUDY GROUPA Torah study group (also known as a chavurah) is a small group that usually meets in a home on Shabbat [the Sabbath] or a weekday evening for a study of the Torah portion or some other scriptural text. Finding a good study group will enhance your journey immensely providing rich personal fellowship and accountability along with learning through participation rather than passive observation.

Interested in studying Scripture?

We have Torah study groups for you!

  • We are a group of people who love the Truth. Each of us arrived in a place where we longed to know the Truth of the Scriptures, the truth of our Messiah and the Truth as we live out our every-day lives.

We realized that we had not been taught the *whole truth* in the Christian churches of our backgrounds. We do not hold animosity towards those in the Churches, but we do recognize that there is much we were never taught, not out of mean-spiritedness, but rather because it just was not time yet.

  • Bat-Tzion is a synagogue, an assembly of Jews and Gentiles who believe in Messiah Yeshua of Natzaret, the one who was nailed to the tree and rose from the dead, proving that He is the Son of G-d. He is the Messiah of Israel, foretold by Moshe, King David, and the Prophets. As such, we are committed to G-d, to Yeshua, and to the Torah of Moshe as Messiah taught it. We are also committed to His People, the Jews, recognizing that all who trust in Him become part of Israel. He is the King of the Jews. Our foundation is Messiah Yeshua Himself, the Torah, the Prophets, and the Shlichim (apostles). We are building His Body together in submission to each other and to His Word.

  • A Torah Study/Bible Study Fellowship focusing on the Hebraic context of the WORD of God, Yeshua the Messiah.

We meet at the Smithton Youth and Community Center.

  • Beit Midrash meets regularly every Sabbath (Saturday)

  • We meet on Shabbat from 3:00-8:00 p.m. for worship, dance, Torah study and fellowship.

  • We have a small study group on Shabbat here in deep East Texas. Torah observant believers are scarce in this area! We have one family in Center, TX, one in Logansport, LA, and one out in Carthage, TX.

Please contact Kyria Baker via email.

  • Chartered in 2007, after four years of growth as a study class, Bondservants of Elohim is a group of believers in Messiah Y'shua who seek a clearer understanding of His call to discipleship.

  • Our mission is to unite Jewish believers in Jeshua (Jesus) and Gentile believers (Christians) into one body, the Body of Jeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ). We do this through fellowship, worship, studying the Word of G-d, and sharing what we have learned with others.

  • Fellowship meeting in the home of Al and Anita Robertson on Shabbat. For more information call or email. Also visit our website.

  • We warmly welcome you to join us each Saturday at 2pm J We are a group of believers who desire to learn to walk with Yeshua (Jesus) as the earliest, first century believers did.

We follow a weekly study schedule which includes one portion from the Torah (the first five books of the Bible), one portion from the other books of the Tanakh (Old Testament), and one portion from the B'rit Chadashah (New Testament). We encourage not just reading the Scriptures, but in-depth study to reveal the true meaning of the original Hebrew & Greek texts. We discover Yeshua (Jesus) throughout the Scriptures, from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21 while gaining deeper insight about the character and eternal plan of our Father, the one true God.

  • Ktav is a weekly meeting for sharing Scripture study and discussion on the TaNaK/Old Testament and New Testament, language studies, historical background, and relevant primary sources. The place for questions on anything Scripture-related!

  • Congregation Heart for Israel (Lev L'Yisrael) is a Messianic Jewish Congregation located in Modesto, California. We are a missionary outreach of Calvary Temple Worship Center in Modesto. We are a small but growing congregation of Jews and Gentiles who proclaim Yeshua haMashiach. We believe that the G*d of Israel has kept His promise and sent His Mashiach and Son, Yeshua (Jesus) of Nazareth. Therefore, we endeavor to be seriously obedient to Him, to love one another, and to be witnesses of His grace, especially to the lost sheep of the House of Israel. We have a heart of the nation of Israel and a deep, abiding love for her people, wherever they may live.
